Revitol is one of the oldest and most well-known scar cream produces on the market. If you search online, you’ll find Revitol scar cream reviews all over the Internet. There are also quite a few testimonials that can be found as well. Before doing any further research on other sites, I suggest you read my review.
My Official Review Of Revitol Scar Cream
General Product Overview
At first glance, the product may look like a perfect solution. While I’m not going to go to deep into whether or not the product works, I will say that the site is a bit different than your traditional scar cream company website. The product page looks like it focuses more on selling the product than actually showcasing it. This is a red flag if you ask me.
Another thing I should mention that seems a bit suspect is that fact that they feel the need to use stock photos on the website in their before and after photos. In fact, the photos actually read “Stock Photo” on each of them. This to me is a huge red flag. If the product has been selling for years and they’ve supposedly sold 100,000+ units then you would think that one of those consumers would be willing to share their success with the world.
Another concern that I have with Revitol is that at first glance they are giving away a free bottle which equates to savings of $150. In addition to that, they have an offer listed on the bottom of the site stating that you can get three free jars. Now, I understand that it’s a marketing tactic but it’s a bit too deceiving to me.
The Revitol website doesn’t list any of the ingredients specifically. One would think that they would do so in order to help consumer make better purchasing decisions. I find it a bit odd that they don’t display that on the site. However, I was able to further determine some of the ingredients in this particular product.
Hydroquinone – This ingredient is said to help eliminate and remove any discoloration from the skin. I would advise that you take precautions when using products that contain this. It’s considered to be a high-risk ingredient. It does meet FDA regulation standards but it’s very high risk. Use this with caution and be sure to read up on it before purchasing any product that contains this ingredient.
Copper Peptides – Used to help promote cell regeneration within the skin cells, copper peptides help you grow new skin. This ingredient can also be found in products with a primary purpose of reducing wrinkles.
Retinol – This is a strong ingredient and I advise that you make sure your body can handle it before you start incorporating any products that contain retinol. The ingredients works in a way that it penetrates your skin to heal damaged tissue. It is also known for it’s ability to stimulate the growth of new skin cells.
Dimethylaminoethanol – This ingredient is known for preventing pigmentation in your skin. Basically, it blocks your skin from growing back damaged or discolored skin. If you read scar cream labels, then you will see this product mentioned on a number of occasions.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find any real instructions on how to use this product other than simply applying it to damaged skin. Seems pretty self explanatory right. One other thing I’d like to mention about this product is that it specifically states that it “Removes Appearance of Scars.” As far as I’m concerned, this should be implied. The fact that the manufacturer has to put that right on the physical jar is concerning.
Third Party Testimonials
I didn’t come across any reviews that were worthy of sharing with you. Most of the reviews I found were somewhat negative. In fact, according to Amazon.com the product was only awarded an average 3 out of 5 stars with only 60 written reviews. I didn’t feel the need to get too deep into the reviews given that they were just mediocore at best.
I was able to find a testimonial on YouTube but unfortunately, it’s a review that’s fake. The person that made this video is promoting the product using an affiliate link, so I know it’s not a real review. This is one of the main reasons why I created my site. So you don’t get suckered into buying products because of watching videos like these.
Product Price And Where To Buy
The price of the Revitol Scar Cream is $39.95 per jar. The website states that you get all these great deals if you purchase a larger quantity. For example, if you decide to buy 3 jars, you’ll get 3 jars free. That will cost you a total of $119.95 if bought on the official website.
This isn’t the only place that you can purchase this product. It can also be purchased on third party websites due to the dropshipping program that they have. Revitol also has an affiliate program, so it’s possible that affiliates are selling the product as well.
